Samuray del Sol def. Alan AngelsThis was a smart choice to open the episode with it being a fast-paced match and them having quality chemistry together. I'm actually surprised Samuray went over considering he's not under an IMPACT contract the last time I checked. That said, with Trent Seven and Kushida being announced as official signees in the last week, Samuray would be a great pickup for the promotion (specifically for the X-Division). Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly def. Savannah Evans and Gisele ShawThis was obviously before Masha Slamovich and Killer Kelly became Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Champions because they didn't have the belts with them and weren't introduced as MK Ultra. They've gelled into quite the tandem this year and their chemistry was on full display in this match. This was solid stuff, but I'd like to see Shaw do more on her own in 2024 after losing a bit too frequently this year. PCO def. Deaner in a Street FightThis took place when The Design was still intact and Sami Callihan had just left the group because The Design's interference was thwarted by oVe, whose feud with The Design I forgot about from a few months ago. PCO excels in hardcore matches, so this definitely benefited from the stipulation. It was a fairly physical affair and the crowd popped for oVe helping out PCO. The whole thing was what it needed to be. Tommy Dreamer and Channing Decker def. Dirty Dango and Alpha BravoHey, I just saw Decker wrestle on tonight's edition of ROH TV! I don't think I've heard of the guy prior to tonight, and now he just so happens to be on both shows. Needless to say, Dreamer didn't come out with the Impact Digital Media Championship because he wasn't champ at the time. I don't know that I'd call this a "hidden gem" exactly, but it was a serviceable tag team match for as long as it lasted. Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo def. Taylor WildeObviously, this took place during that three-month period earlier this year when Purrazzo was champion and Wilde was still around. I forget if Wilde is hurt or is done with the promotion, but hopefully she can return soon. We know that she wasn't winning the title here, but I thought she and Purrazzo had the really well-wrestled match they're capable of together. We found out last week that Purrazzo is done with IMPACT/TNA for the time being, so it was nice we got to see one more match of hers where she won. Josh Alexander def. Yuya UemuraThis reminded me that IMPACT has stayed true to Uemura's "firing" following Feast or Fired. I figured he'd be back, but apparently not (and this was from prior to that point, of course). Alexander never disappoints and having an equally talented opponent in Uemura resulted in a strong match. It went a while and Uemura was made to look credible in defeat (even though this won't amount to anything for him because he's no longer with the company). Overall ShowFinal Resolution last weekend was the final event under the IMPACT banner, so it looks like we'll be getting throwaway content until the new year when the TNA rebrand will go into effect. This was a cool concept to fill the time with none of these matches previously having aired. This isn't an edition of IMPACT! Wrestling you need to seek out by any means, but I wouldn't consider it a waste because of the enjoyable action it featured.
