"Bulletproof" Blake Troop def. Joe Alonzo by Referee StoppageNo reason was given as to why this match happened, but it did mark the return of both men to NWA programming after not being featured for a few months. Troop's matches haven't been overly exciting, but I understand NWA wanting to build him up a bit because of his MMA background. I would've preferred to see Alonzo go over, but I thought this was good for the time it was allotted. Magic Jake Dumas def. Alex MiseryMisery has had only one other match in the NWA to my knowledge and that was at the beginning of the year. It was cool to see him resurface here as he's talented and had what was probably the best match I've seen Dumas in. I assume this existed to give Dumas a momentum-boosting win, but Misery stood out more than he did and I hope this isn't the last we see of him on Powerrr. Anthony Andrews and Zyon def. The Country GentlemenCountry Gentlemen originally consisted of Andrews and AJ Cazana, but then Andrews disappeared from the NWA and was replaced by KC Cazana. I like that Andrews returned here to get some revenge and that they wrestled as if there was actual bad blood between them. Cyon's involvement was incredibly random, but I guess Andrews just needed a partner. Andrews winning was interesting because it means there might be more to come between Andrews and Country Gentlemen. The King Bees def. Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy and Kylie Paige) to Win the NWA World Women's Tag Team ChampionshipThis was a rematch from a few months. I don't know what King Bees did to earn another opportunity, but that aside, I'm glad they were brought back because they were impressive the first time and them capturing the tag titles (in what was definitely upset) is a nice change of pace for the division. It shows that Pretty Empowered are vulnerable and Kenzie Paige might lose her gold next. This was a well-worked main event and I appreciated seeing the women spotlighted in the main event. Overall ShowI continue to dig the new format and look for Powerrr, though I'm not sure if future episodes will be taped at the same venue. This was another solid show with three well-wrestled matches and a notable title change in the main event. There's some storyline consistency from week to week, which is an improvement for Powerrr compared to the way it was prior to its arrival on The CW app, but more is needed to make some of these matches more meaningful.
