NWA Women's World Tag Team Champion Kylie Paige def. Missa Kate and Ruthie Jay in a 2-on-1 Handicap MatchElla Envy apparently wasn't able to compete, so Paige had to defend the NWA World Women's Tag Team Championship on her own. As a result, this had a weird dynamic with Paige having to fight from underneath, though she did cheat to win with Kenzie Paige interfering at the end. The match was okay, but it was probably for the best to keep it on the shorter side. Paige retaining was also the right call. NWA World Women's Champion Kenzie Paige def. Miss StarrAlthough this was already advertised, I liked how the opener immediately segued into this match with the referee seeing Kenzie in the ring with Kylie and calling for the bell once Starr showed up. Despite being unprepared, Kenzie still went over as she should have. This was a well-worked matchup while it lasted. Starr laid out Kenzie afterward, so it appears their feud isn't over yet. Both are heels, so I'm not sure who the audience is supposed to be rooting for. Knox and Murdoch def. The Country GentlemenMike Knox and Trevor Murdoch have developed nice chemistry as partners, so I'm glad they're sticking together despite failing to win the NWA World Tag Team Championship on three different occasions. This new iteration of Country Gentlemen have been impressive in their own right, so this was a solid match. Post-match, a little person named Eric Smalls emerged (wanting revenge for what Murdoch did to him at Samhain) and was laid out by Knox and Murdoch. I have no idea what purpose that served. NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion EC3 def. Jax DaneThis has been effectively built up over the last month to where this felt like it could have headlined an NWA pay-per-view, but it made for a meaningful main event on this show. It didn't get a ton of time (nor did it need to), but they had a quality contest that admittedly exceeded my expectations even if the outcome was never in doubt due to Matt Cardona being next in line for a title shot. Amazingly, EC3's finisher looked terrible all three times he hit it, but at least Dane was protected in defeat. Overall ShowThis was the NWA equivalent to AEW's "Title Tuesday" edition of Dynamite with three championships being defended. Granted, none of them changed hands and it was fairly obvious they wouldn't, but I'd say they saved the best for last from this taping with the matches gradually getting better throughout. This was a thumbs-up episode and an easy watch at only 44 minutes. The Paranoia event is coming up this weekend, but I think those matches will be airing over the next month on Powerrr instead of being a part of a standalone show that airs live.
