NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Colby Corino def. Yabbo the ClownCorino doesn't have a formal feud right now, though Joe Alonzo recently teased wanting a rematch with him and I don't think there's been any follow-up on that. Nonetheless, Corino is getting the chance to defend against a variety of opponents and showcasing his skills that way. The Brothers of Funstruction do nothing for me personally, but this was a perfectly passable outing and the outcome was obviously the correct one. NWA World Tag Team Champions Blunt Force Trauma def. The Miserably Faithful (Gaagz the Gymp and Salvation) (Non-Title)Thankfully, the tag titles weren't on the line here as Miserably Faithful have done nothing to deserve a shot. Sal the Pal is sporting a new look and is apparently calling himself Salvation now. As part of his repackaging, the NWA should split him away from Gaagz and get Gaagz off the show completely. I'm shocked he's still a thing after almost two years. This was basically a squash for Blunt Force Trauma as it should have been. NWA Unified Television Champions Max the Impaler vs. Mims Ended in a Time-Limit DrawMax is being called the NWA Unified Television Champion, but as the commentators pointed out toward the beginning, the titles aren't really "unified" if Max will be defending the men's and women's Television titles separately depending on the gender of the challenger. That's a cool concept I can't ever remember being done on a national level. It works because Max can be taken as a seriously threat against almost everyone on the roster. This wasn't on par with their original encounter because of the time limit and the stakes weren't as high, but it was decent. The time-limit draw was a fine way to extend the feud and build to another rematch, but it's an overdone finish in the NWA at this point. Overall ShowThe change of scenery indicated this was from the latest tapings, and the new set looks great. It was a slightly shorter show than usual but still solid on the whole. I'm glad we're getting more from Max and Mims, Corino once again proving himself as a fighting champion, the tag team match didn't overstay its welcome, and the promos from EC3 and The Southern Six seemed to plant the seeds for what's to come.
