Daisy Kill and Talos Interrupted NWA World Women's Champion KamilleKamille was doing an in-ring interview with Kyle Davis where she questioned who could beat her when Kill and Talos showed up to run her down. The endgame was Kamille agreeing to defend her title against Natalia Markova in the main event, or maybe that was already the planned main event because it was advertised ahead of time. Either way, I'm not sure why this segment existed or what this had to do with Kill and Talos. I don't remember them ever having a connection with Markova in any way, so why would they care? NWA National Champion EC3 def. CarnageWith Carnage being one-half of Blunt Force Trauma, I don't know what he did to earn an opportunity at the NWA National Championship. So far, EC3's reign isn't exactly off to the strongest start. I appreciate that he's a fighting champion, but Carnage wasn't a great opponent for him. Unsurprisingly, they had a fairly boring, basic match. EC3 winning decisively was key because that means there's no reason for a rematch. NWA World Women's Tag Team Champions M95 def. The Hollywood BlondesMissa Kate and Madi are now going by the team name M95, which is pretty cool. It makes them feel like more than just a random pairing keeping the belts warm. Meanwhile, Hollywood Blondes consisted of Ray Lyn and Heather Monroe. Are they allowed to use that name if The Hollywood Blondes already exist? Is it a spelling thing? Nonetheless, this was a solid match from these four ladies. Kate and Madi continue to develop chemistry as partners and this was another nice title defense for them. NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Tyrus Announced Chris Adonis as His Partner in the 2023 Crockett Cup; Adonis def. CyonBabyface Tyrus is just the worst. I mean, Tyrus is terrible anyway, but he's even more miscast as a babyface. Although he announced Adonis as his partner in the Crockett Cup, Adonis said before his match that he never agreed to that, so we'll see how that plays out. Honestly, who can blame Adonis for not wanting to team with Tyrus? Adonis vs. Cyon was whatever as Cyon isn't interesting in the slightest, but the fact he teased tension with Austin Idol before eating defeat was somewhat notable. NWA World Women's Champion Kamille vs. Natalia Markova Ended in a Time-Limit DrawI didn't expect this to be given away on a random episode of Powerrr without being built up first because I've always thought Markova could be a viable contender to dethrone Kamille as champion. I typically hate the NWA's constant non-finishes, but I didn't hate it here because it sets up the need for a rematch, preferably on pay-per-view. They had a quality main event and I believe they're capable of better. The story was that Markova may have won had the time limit not expired, which makes her feel like more of a threat than most people Kamille has faced up to this point. Overall ShowWe got three title matches on this show, so that made it slightly eventful. Sure, they all came out of nowhere, but I did enjoy the main event and the women's tag title match was mostly decent. The other two matches were as exciting as watching paint dry, but I suppose they could have been worse. All in all, it was an adequate episode. It's cool that the Crockett Cup is getting as much love as it has been, but there isn't anything else about the product that's furthered from week to week and it just makes these shows more skippable.
