"Bounty Hunter" Bryan Keith def. Aaron SoloKeith has certainly endured enough losses in his time with AEW and Ring of Honor so far, so it was encouraging to see him pick up a win for a change. Okay, so beating Aaron Solo doesn't mean much, but it's a start. It was more competitive than I would've liked, but a win is a win. I appreciate how much Keith has been featured across the two companies since signing and I hope that continues. The Righteous and Lance Archer def. Jon Cruz, Savion Truitt and Damian ChambersWith it being announced on Wednesday's Dynamite that Bullet Club Gold will face The Acclaimed and Billy Gunn in a Winners Take All match, I assume the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship are on the verge of being retired and it couldn't happen a second sooner. In other words, Archer and The Righteous will have nothing to strive for as a trio, which makes me wonder what the point of them teaming even is. They dominated their opponents here in short order, but it felt like a waste of time. Lee Johnson def. JD DrakeDrake talked into the camera during his entrance and told his tag team partner Anthony Henry to hurry back (from injury). In case you missed it, Henry was among those released two weeks ago, but Tony Khan later clarified that he'd welcome Henry back once he was cleared to compete. Drake is very good and that was evident in this outing, but this was all about getting Johnson back on track following his loss to Kyle Fletcher at Supercard of Honor. Abadon def. Allysin KayI really hope there's a reason why Kay hasn't been signed by a promotion yet. I figured AEW would've picked her up years ago, and she's had a handful of matches in ROH, but she's only ever brought in to be an enhancement talent. My thoughts on Abadon as a wrestler are well documented, but they're apparently a permanently fixture in ROH's women's division now and it made sense for them to win here in what was basically an extended squash. The Infantry def. Iron Savages (Bronson and Boulder)The Infantry are coming off their best matches in AEW and ROH to date with FTR and The Undisputed Kingdom, respectively. It would be a real waste for them to stay right where they have been on the card instead of moving up in the ranks. Iron Savages are an awful act, so a win over them is hardly a momentum-booster. The match was fine what it was. Their next feud appears to be with Premier Athletes and that's a definite downgrade. Kiera Hogan, Trish Adora and "Legit" Leyla Hirsch def. Leila Grey, Taya Valkyrie and DiamanteIt's been a while since I last remember seeing Grey in action. This was one of those multi-person matches that didn't really serve a purpose other than to act as a showcase for those involved (not to mention the crowd was extremely quiet), but at least it was well worked. It didn't really matter who won, but it'd be nice if Hogan picking up the win for her team led to her challenging for the ROH Women's World Television Championship soon. The Beast Mortos def. Nick ComorotoAs I've said before, I'm all for more of Mortos in ROH. The guy can go and is a blast to watch. I can not say the same for Comoroto, who has always come off as painfully generic to me. He's involved in an angle where he's being scouted by that guy Jacoby Watts, but will that really benefit Comoroto at all? As a hoss fight, this was a solid. It'd be cool to see Mortos set his sights on the ROH World Television Championship as a match with Fletcher would be great. Lady Frost def. Marti BelleBelle appearing on the same show as Kay was interesting because they've long been tag team partners, primarily in the NWA and briefly in TNA last year. Unlike Kay, I've always found her to be abysmal in the ring and nothing I saw from her here changed my mind, but kudos to her for getting this opportunity. Frost getting a straightforward win is an encouraging sign that she could soon enter championship contention. The Dark Order (Evil Uno and John Silver) def. Zak Patterson and Frank MilanoDark Order have "go-away" heat with me at this point. They're a harmless faction, but they've been around for almost five years and have had little development in the last two. They should largely be relegated to dark matches unless these wins will eventually amount to something (and I have no expectation that they will). I have no idea why this needed to last as long as it did considering the outcome was never in doubt. ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe def. Griff Garrison in an ROH World Championship Proving Ground MatchI don't understand why Garrison and Cole Karter beat Spanish Announce Project at Supercard of Honor if Karter was going to lose to Christopher Daniels last week and Garrison was going to lose to Briscoe here. For the record, I couldn't care less about them as a team and thus neither outcome bothered me, but the booking is illogical. Nonetheless, this was a decent match that gave Briscoe an easy win before he teams with Eddie Kingston and Adam Copeland to take on House of Black at Dynasty. Overall ShowAlthough this edition of ROH TV was only around 90 minutes long (and I say "only" because the show has had a tendency to go over two hours in the past), it felt like it would never end toward the final few matches. Ten matches is too many when a majority of them are meaningless. On the whole, this episode was adequate albeit inconsequential. Nothing of note actually happened, so how can anyone feel fulfilled after spending time to watch it?
