The Infantry def. The OutrunnersThese two teams have had several interactions backstage on ROH TV (which were wisely recapped before this bout aired), so I appreciated that this had something of a story behind it. I still couldn't care less about The Outrunners, but I'm glad The Infantry continued to be featured following their failure to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship at Supercard of Honor. This lasted a little longer than I would have liked, but it was decent and had the right result. Nyla Rose def. Camron BranaeBranae is the former Amari Miller from WWE NXT. If you don't recognize the name, I don't blame you, but she did wrestle on NXT TV a number of times as an enhancement talent before being released earlier this year. She was never all that impressive, and it's not as if she had much of a chance here to show what she could do. It was a straight-up squash for Rose as it should have been. When is Rose going to set her sights on the ROH Women's World Television Championship? ROH World Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) def. The Qrown in an ROH World Tag Team Championship Proving Ground MatchAnother week, another pointless Proving Ground match for Undisputed Kingdom. I'm not sure why they don't just call them non-title matches since there was zero chance of Qrown actually winning. Did this really need to be as competitive as it was? Undisputed Kingdom are doing nothing interesting as champions, either in Ring of Honor or in AEW. ROH needs to build up credible babyface teams in the worst way. Toa Liona def. Jimmy WildIt was weird seeing Liona out there without his Gates of Agony tag team partner. Mogul Embassy is all but dead at this point, so honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Liona receive some singles spotlight in ROH. I wouldn't have minded The Gates of Agony challenge for the ROH World Tag Team Championship, but I don't see that happening as long as Undisputed Kingdom are holding the gold. He destroyed Wild with ease here. The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds, John Silver and Evil Uno) def. Adam Priest, Zicky Dice and Sean MalutaAs I've said before, if you've seen one Dark Order squash, you've seen them all. Amazingly, they're still crowd favorites, but I guess this was an appropriate place for it considering this show emanated from Daily's Place and the group has history in the venue from the pandemic. With the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship no longer being a thing, Dark Order don't have much to strive for in ROH. In other words, this was a waste of time. Aaron Solo def. Jon CruzThis was the epitome of an AEW Dark match. A battle of two of AEW/ROH's biggest losers. I know ROH TV morphed into Dark a while ago, but that doesn't mean you need to water it down with crap like this. The best thing I can say about it is that it was kept brief with Solo winning decisively, but I question what the point is of giving a guy like Solo a televised win if we know for a fact it isn't amounting to anything. Queen Aminata def. Robyn RenegadeThis marked Aminata's first ROH appearance since coming up short against Billie Starkz in the finals of the ROH Women's World Television Championship Tournament at Supercard of Honor. I'd have to imagine she'll want a rematch with Starkz since Starkz cheated to win by feigning a neck injury. This certainly wasn't worthy of the main event spot, but it was okay and gave Aminata a rebound victory. Overall ShowThe change of scenery was cool as this was taped at Daily's Place when AEW was there last week. It also helped that this was under an hour, which is what it should be every week. Unfortunately, very little of this show was consequential. It was a bunch of enhancement matches that accomplished nothing in the grand scheme of things. Seriously, there was not a single match I'd consider to be meaningful. You can't convince me ROH TV isn't AEW Dark in disguise at this point.
