TNA X-Division Champion Mustafa Ali def. Kevin Knight (Non-Title)If Ali's first two matches in TNA have been any indication, his run is going to be a blast. There was no question surrounding the outcome (which is often the case with Knight's matches), but I thoroughly enjoyed this for what it was and appreciated that Knight was made to look credible in defeat. Post-match, Ali and The Good Hands attacked Knight before Alex Shelley made the save, leading to the tag team matchup we got a little later on. Ash Elegance def. Angel BlueI legitimately thought Angel Blue was Leva Bates when I first saw her because of the blue hair. It wouldn't have mattered either way because this was always going to be a short squash for Ash as it should have been. Ash's strong suit is not in the ring, so I'm curious to see how she'll do when she enters her first feud, but she's gradually building momentum for now and the presentation of her character has been well done. Time Splitters def. The Good HandsIt's always a treat to see Shelley and Kushida team up. Good Hands weren't much of a threat to them, but this was a logical match to do given the alliance Good Hands have had with Ali as of late. This was well wrestled and gave Time Splitters a win heading into Sacrifice. Not impressed by their performance, Ali ended up choosing to team with Grizzled Young Vets against Time Machine at Sacrifice instead of Good Hands. Dani Luna def. TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion Masha SlamovichThis was part of the ongoing feud between MK Ultra and the team of Luna and Jody Threat. The matches have been fine, but I haven't been able to bring myself to care about any of the stuff involving the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship in a while. It's amazing to think Slamovich went undefeated at one point in her TNA run because beating her at this point means nothing, but this was a nice win for Luna, nonetheless. PCO def. Alan AngelsThis stemmed from PCO crashing Angels' The Sound Check segment with Kon last week. For a brief period, it looked like Angels was going to be given a sustained push in the X-Division, but now it's become clear his talk show only exists to further other feuds and put people over. Think the TNA equivalent of Miz TV. This was kept short and sweet as it should have been before PCO battles Kon in a No Disqualification match at Sacrifice. TNA World Tag Team Champions ABC Saved Eric Young From The SystemYoung spoke about his upcoming opportunity at the TNA World Championship at Sacrifice before Moose interrupted. It was a solid exchange, but nothing overly special. They did what they could to build up this main event on two weeks' notice. ABC making the save for Young (who they teamed up on last week's episode) sets them up to defend against Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers at the event as well. Josh Alexander def. Dirty DangoIt was made official last week that not only has Hammerstone signed with TNA but also that he'd be facing Alexander at Sacrifice in a rematch from Hard to Kill. They're saving Hammerstone's next appearance for Sacrifice, so this only existed to give Alexander a win before then and not to heat up his feud with Hammerstone at all. This was far from worthy of the main event spot, but it was servicable, if nothing else. Overall ShowTNA hardly had any time to build up this Sacrifice card, but I applaud the effort, and to their credit, it has plenty of potential on paper and none of the matches don't feel thrown-together. This was a fairly ho-hum go-home show, especially with the main event being an average outing and nothing standing out as special aside from the opener, but the stuff with Time Machine was interesting in regards to what it could be leading to.
