2022 Royal Rumble Game: Full Details and Roster

What's the Royal Rumble Game?

It isn't Royal Rumble season until the official details for my annual Royal Rumble Game are released, and thus here we are! This will be the 10th consecutive year I will be hosting the Royal Rumble Game, and it remains one of my favorite things to do all year. Thanks to all who have ever participated and will continue to participate. I'm extremely excited for this upcoming installment, so let's get cracking!

By this point, everyone should be fairly familiar with the rules of the Royal Rumble (considering it's usually the same people who throw their name in the hat every year), but for those who are unfamiliar with the concept, here have been the rules in the past: You pick a number 1-30 for both the men's and women's pools. They can be different numbers and you can only choose to enter one pool if you'd like (especially if the other Rumble pool is full). Each entry is limited to one person, and it's first come, first serve. The designated sign-up date and time is below. If whoever enters at your number in the Royal Rumble Game wins the whole thing, you win the game!

Similar to the last few years, there will two Rumble pools: one for the men's Rumble, and one for the women's Rumble. You are allowed enter both, so there could be as few as 30 total entrants. You are still limited to only one spot per Rumble, but when you choose two numbers between 1-30, please specify which is for the men's or and which is for women's. No two people can choose the same spot in one Rumble pool. Therefore, there will be two winners (unless the same person wins both, which is possible)!

What Can I Win?

As always, we will have a prize hanging in the balance! Not only will you have the honor of winning the Rumble Game if your entry comes out on top in either of the annual Battle Royals on January 29th, you will also win a free t-shirt! You can choose either a WrestleRant Radio t-shirt or the t-shirt of whoever you got in the Rumble (and if they don't have a shirt, you can get the aforementioned WrestleRant Radio tee). If you win, I will contact you in the subsequent days with information as to how it will be sent over to you.

Also, if you win the 2022 Royal Rumble Game, you automatically earn entry into next year's game and get to choose your number before anyone else! Due to winning the 2021 Royal Rumble Game, Pete Haase and Adam Caponetti have already entered this year's installment and have chosen their numbers in the men's and women's Rumbles.

When Can I Sign Up For a Spot?

Now comes the most important question: how and when will you be able to choose your number in the 2022 Royal Rumble Game? Starting at the designated time below (and you'll find out exactly when in a second), you can leave a comment on this post with the numbers you want for each Rumble (please specify which number is for which Rumble) and either a Twitter handle or an email address I can contact you at if you win. You can also tweet me @WrestleRant with what number(s) you want at the designated time as well.

When the full roster between the two Rumbles is set, your name will be attached to the number down below and your name will be linked to whatever Twitter handle you used in your comment (if you used an email address, it won't be but that's fine). As noted, spots are limited. Only one person can be assigned to a number per Rumble (and as previously noted, you are eligible to enter both Rumbles as long as nobody has taken the numbers you want). I will respond to your comment with approval that the numbers are yours. First come, first serve!

The drawing of the numbers will be going down on Thursday, January 20th at 8 p.m. ET! Thanks and hope to see you participate in the game!
