Frankie Kazarian def. Teddy GoodzBonus points to Kazarian who walked out wearing an "I'm a Killer Kowalski Guy" shirt. Obviously, he trained under him. Goodz received more of a favorable reaction than most enhancement talent AEW uses on the Dark shows for some reason. The Boston crowd is either familiar with him or they just liked his name. Kazarian is still a treat to watch in the ring even after all these years of being in the business. Diamante def. Ashley D'AmboiseD'Amboise has been a regular on the Dark shows for the last year or so. She was also used as an extra recently on WWE SmackDown and competed at an indy wrestling show I attended last month. In other words, kudos to her for making the rounds. She definitely stands out compared to most of the enhancement talent AEW uses. This was a pretty standard showcase for Diamante, who is basically spinning her wheels on Dark and Elevation at this point. The Dark Order (John Silver, Alex Reynolds, Stu Grayson, Alan "5" Angels and Preston "10" Vance) def. Gunn Club (Austin, Colten and Billy Gunn) and Chaos ProjectGunn Club and Chaos Project are two of the most insufferable teams in all of AEW, so putting them together was certainly a choice. I've come to tolerate Gunn Club a bit more in recent months, but Chaos Project still suck and have been way too overexposed on the Dark shows lately. This was all over the place considering there were 10 men in there, but it was serviceable and the crowd was into Dark Order at least. Ruby Soho, Anna Jay and Skye Blue def. The Bunny, Emi Sakura and LuFistoLuFisto is a notable name in women's wrestling, though I admittedly haven't seen much of her work. However, from what I understand, she's well respected in the industry and fans have been clamoring for some company to sign her for a while now. Even if she doesn't end up in AEW ultimately, it was cool AEW gave her some exposure in this match. It was well wrestled while it lasted but could have used a few more minutes with six people involved. Some of these multi-woman matches can be a bit of a mess, but everyone held their own in this one. Penta Oscuro def. Jora JohlOscuro has to have the most badass entrance in all of AEW, right? I'm digging this darker side to his character. Meanwhile, Johl continues to be the guy no one knows is a member of The Andrade Family Office. Seriously, he only ever appears on the Dark shows, so how is anyone supposed to know that? Props to him for giving it a commendable effort, but this was all about Oscuro, who pretty much killed Johl and broke his arm for good measure to pick up the victory. Top Flight def. The Factory (Aaron Solo and Nick Comoroto)Top Flight feel short against The Young Bucks a week and a half ago on Rampage, so this was a nice rebound win for them. They're always a blast to watch, even when in the ring with a team as mundane as Solo and Comoroto. Both guys are adequate in the ring and I maintain Comoroto can be something with a different manager, but this Factory stuff wore out its welcome a while ago. This was a good chance for Top Flight to contine finding their footing coming off Darius Martin's injury. Overall ShowReportedly, a Leyla Hirsch match was also taped for this episode, but she suffered an injury and the match had to be called off. It must be serious if they didn't bother to air the bout on this show, so here's wishing her a speedy recovery. That's especially a bummer when you consider she's been pushed hard recently. Nonetheless, the rest of this show was solid and seemed to fly by. There were more competitive matches than usual, which I appreciated, and nothing was egregiously terrible, so I have no complaints.
