AEW World Tag Team Champion Scorpio Sky def. Peter Avalon and Jimmy Havoc in a Three-Way Match

I realize it's only AEW Dark and it doesn't matter as much, but AEW needs to cool it with all the multi-man matches. I guess having Havoc in there made the matchup more entertaining than if it was just Sky vs. Avalon straight up, but it felt random. Nevertheless, this was a decent three-way with Sky being the best part about it. Havoc added some extra flavor to it while Avalon was simply there to eat the pinfall loss. Sky is officially back on track following his loss to Chris Jericho two weeks ago.

Jurassic Express def. Alex Reynolds and John Silver

It took Jurassic Express facing a pair of jobbers and Luchsaurus filling in for Jungle Boy for them to finally score their first victory in AEW. They're easily one of the most popular acts in the company, so it's slightly surprising they haven't been able to emerge victorious in anything until now. Nonetheless, this was a pretty basic bout with Marko Stunt getting the crap kicked out of him by Reynolds and Silver for a few minutes before Luchasaurus tagged in and destroyed them both. Jungle Boy will face Jericho on Dynamite next Wednesday night, so this was a nice momentum-booster for the team (even though he wasn't involved).

Kenny Omega def. Kip Sabian

I feel like Sabian doesn't get the credit he deserves for being as good as he is, probably because he hasn't been showcased too much since signing with AEW. He's wrestled his fair share of quality matches, but considering he's lost way more than he's won, it's hard to take him seriously. The outcome to this contest was never in doubt, but I enjoyed it for what it was. The use of Penelope Ford was well done. I like her pairing with Sabian, I just wish we got to see them together more often.

Overall Show

In addition to the aforementioned matches, a video package also aired spotlighting the latest addition to AEW's women's division Big Swole. It was really well done and gave viewers who weren't already familiar with her a reason to care about her. That's the stuff we need more of on Dynamite. The three matches were perfectly fine and made for a solid show on the whole with all the right people winning, even if there isn't anything you need to go out of your way to see.
