Darby Allin def. Billy GunnAllin is coming off a loss to MJF at Full Gear, so this win allowed him to get back on track. I have less than zero desire to see Gunn or Gunn Club on AEW TV with the stacked roster AEW now has, but he didn't look totally terrible here. It was a serviceable match that did what it needed to. With Gunn Club laying out Allin and Sting afterward, expect to see that tag team affair one of these weeks on TV. Jade Cargill def. Red Velvet in an AEW TBS Women's Championship Tournament Quarterfinal MatchAEW played up the history these two have from earlier this year. Both women have come a long way since then, but they haven't improved enough to where this would be a barn burner. I'll give them credit, this was certainly a quality contest and they gave it a great effort, but it also had its fair share of spots that made it obvious they're still inexperienced. Nonetheless, Cargill winning again was the right call. I wouldn't have her win the whole thing, though. She isn't ready for that yet I don't think. Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) def. Adam Cole and Bobby FishIt's so cool to see Cole and Fish already teaming up in AEW. The question is if Kyle O'Reilly will soon join then, or if Cole and Fish will part ways before then because Cole keeps bailing on Fish. Hopefully they stick together because they have strong chemistry as partners and it's a nice use of Fish, who is better as a tag team guy. This was a very enjoyable, fast-paced main event, and as others have said, I could watch Cole and Jungle Boy square off all day long. My only nitpick of this main event was that this feud pitting Christian Cage and Jurassic Express against The Elite apparently still isn't over. It's high time we move on. Overall ShowTaz wasn't lying when he called Rampage the quickest hour in wrestling at point during the show. The episodes always fly by even if they aren't always the most eventful. The main event is worth checking out, and although Cargill vs. Velvet was a mess at times, they put together a decent outing. The opener was also solid, though I could do without seeing Billy in action on this show again. This wasn't one of the best editions of Rampage ever, but they filled the time well enough.
