Arez def. Extreme TigreArez is still carrying around that briefcase full of money he won on Fusion: ALPHA last month. I thought I recognized Tigre, and then I realized he was Tigre Uno in IMPACT several years ago. Of the two, Arez was the right choice to win since he's the MLW guy. This was an enjoyable opener that featured the lucha style that's been prominent on these Azteca shows. We've seen some botches from the lucha guys on other episodes, but Tigre's stuff looked pretty clean and crisp and he worked well with Arez.

Die Familie (Teoman, Rohan Raja and Charlie Dempsey) def. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey and Gallus)Teoman and Raja haven't done a ton for me so far, but this faction of theirs definitely makes them more interesting. Dempsey is the best part about it and watching him work was the highlight of this match. It was a well-wrestled six-man tag team affair that saw the right trio go over. That said, I don't think we've seen the last of Die Familie vs. Gallus and I like that Die Familie have won a majority of the matches so far.
LA Knight def. Cedric AlexanderIt was reported last week that Knight and Roderick Strong worked the dark match before SmackDown, so it only made sense for them to take part in the Main Event taping before Monday's Raw. I can't stress enough how Knight is simply made for the main roster and should have been called up a long time ago. He's been a great babyface lately on NXT and he had that crowd engagement here as well. This was a very good match with Knight getting to hit his signature spots before picking up the victory.
Sammy Guevara def. Cody Rhodes in a Ladder Match to Become the Undisputed AEW TNT ChampionI wasn't a fan of the idea of this match going in because the whole interim title thing was silly, but I knew it would be a hell of a match and they definitely delivered. This was wild. Both men went all out, and while there were some spots I could've done without (the swanton off the ladder looked like it hurt Guevara more than it did Cody), but that cutter off the ladder in particular was a thing of beauty. I don't care much about individual at the moment, but Guevara winning was the better option of the two.
