"Hangman" Adam Page def. Powerhouse HobbsAs I've said before, Paige is the perfect person to kick off any wrestling show. He just brings an energy to his matches and has a connection with the crowd unlike anyone else on the roster aside from maybe Darby Allin. I definitely feel like All Out is the right time to pull the trigger on him against Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship, and him knocking off the number three ranked wrestler will only help his cause. This was an entertaining opener with strong showings from both men. Hobbs continues to impress any time I see him in action. He hasn't been in the company for a full year and is already making great strides.

Ikemen Jiro def. Ariya DaivariIt's very well documented that I'm no Daivari fan, and I'm honestly shocked he lasted as long as he did considering he was never going to make the main roster. You can say the same about Tony Nese I suppose, but I've always found Nese to be way better than Daivari. That said, Daivari has arguably been doing the best work of his entire WWE run this year while working with the new guys. This was another solid showing from him with Jiro impressing again. Jiro going over one of the longtime gatekeepers of the brand in the latter's farewell match seemed fitting.
Bayley and Seth Rollins def. SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair and CesaroI enjoyed the verbal exchange between Belair and Bayley beforehand, but it's high time we move on from this feud. Their bad blood dates back to late last year, not to mention that Belair beat her decisively inside Hell in a Cell (you know, the gimmick match that's supposed to blow off rivalries) on Sunday. It's obvious WWE is just killing time with them at this point until Sasha Banks returns for SummerSlam. With all of that being said, this was a strong opening match with great work from everyone involved. Again, though, no one gains anything from Bayley challenging Banks for the title again and likely losing.
Rosemary def. Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champion Kiera HoganRosemary and Havok seem to be next in line for a shot at the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship and obviously that should be saved for Slammiversary. I think that's a great use of the both of them, especially if it means they won't be opponents anymore. This was the expected quality match from these two with the right result. Rosemary needed the momentum boost after losing to Deonna Purrazzo at Against All Odds and Hogan can absorb the loss. Good opener.
