Bayley and Seth Rollins def. SmackDown Women's Champion Bianca Belair and CesaroI enjoyed the verbal exchange between Belair and Bayley beforehand, but it's high time we move on from this feud. Their bad blood dates back to late last year, not to mention that Belair beat her decisively inside Hell in a Cell (you know, the gimmick match that's supposed to blow off rivalries) on Sunday. It's obvious WWE is just killing time with them at this point until Sasha Banks returns for SummerSlam. With all of that being said, this was a strong opening match with great work from everyone involved. Again, though, no one gains anything from Bayley challenging Banks for the title again and likely losing.

Rosemary def. Impact Knockouts Tag Team Champion Kiera HoganRosemary and Havok seem to be next in line for a shot at the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship and obviously that should be saved for Slammiversary. I think that's a great use of the both of them, especially if it means they won't be opponents anymore. This was the expected quality match from these two with the right result. Rosemary needed the momentum boost after losing to Deonna Purrazzo at Against All Odds and Hogan can absorb the loss. Good opener.
Mark Coffey def. Sha SamuelsI honestly can't remember the last singles match I saw Mark Coffey have. Joe Coffey is almost always a singles competitor and even Mark's partner Wolfgang wrestles on his own a fair amount. Mark just screams tag team guy, but to his credit, he had a solid showing here in what was a good opener. Samuels has been impressive since coming to NXT UK and continues to make the most of every opportunity he's given. I would've had Samuels win personally, but it looks like they're building to something with Mark and Wolfgang.
NXT North American Champion Bronson Reed def. Drew Gulak (Non-Title)A competitive match, this was not. It was funny seeing Gulak go from dominating Ricochet last week (not to mention that Ricochet went on to qualify for the men's Money in the Bank Ladder match on Raw) to being squashed by Reed this week. However, I wouldn't have wanted anything different. This was all about showcasing Reed and he came off like a beast. He's been doing great work recently in NXT, and although I'm sure he's main roster bound at some point, I hope he stays in NXT for the foreseeable future.
