Impact Knockouts World Tag Team Champions VXT def. Impact Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace and Mia YimThis match didn't make a ton of sense to me on paper. VXT already beat Grace and Yim a few weeks ago, and Grace and Yim did nothing to earn this opportunity other than asking for it. I understand this was done so Purrazzo could pin Grace and be entered into a number one contender's match for her Impact Knockouts World Championship next week, but from a storyline standpoint, this was weird. On the bright side, they had a very good match with all four women having strong showings. VXT, of course, have terrific chemistry as a team. I'm curious where Yim goes from here as she seeming wraps up her IMPACT heading into Bound for Glory.

Trent Seven def. Oliver Carter in an NXT UK Championship Tournament Semifinal MatchCarter surprisingly ran through all of Die Familie leading up to and in the first round of the tournament, but he wasn't getting past Seven here. I really liked the story they told with Carter giving it a valiant effort only for Seven to target his injured leg and use it to his advantage to score the victory. Both of these men have since been released, but hopefully we see them pop up again next year when NXT Europe launches.
Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. def. 24/7 Champion Dana Brooke and TaminaIt's another week where the 24/7 Championship is still in existence and another week where it should be abolished. Nonetheless, these were the two losing teams on the Raw side of the bracket in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship Tournament, though they'll have another chance to qualify for the semifinals in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match on Friday's SmackDown. Brooke and Tamina are not very good at all, but this was perfectly passable. I was hoping last week's loss for Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. would lead to them splitting up and Doudrop becoming Piper Niven again, but no such luck (or at least not yet).
Daniel Garcia Walked Out on Chris Jericho; Jericho Accepted Bryan Danielson's All Out ChallengeI haven't been as high on Garcia's as most others have been due to how generic he is character-wise, but I thought this was easily his strongest performance on the mic to date. Bryan and Jericho also played their roles well. Anything involving Jericho Appreciation Society has been channel-changing for me, but they sold me on Danielson vs. Jericho at All Out with this segment. I fear that Garcia teasing tension with Jericho will ultimately be revealed as a ruse, which would be a waste of the momentum Garcia has coming off his tremendous two-out-of-three falls match with Danielson last week.
