Mansoor def. Ashante "Thee" AdonisI always enjoy seeing Mansoor in action on 205 Live. He's really good despite his inexperience. I just wish we'd get to see more of him on NXT TV considering the big wins he's picked up on the WWE pay-per-views on Saudi Arabia, or at the very least hear him cut promos more often. Adonis is an exciting up-and-coming prospect as well and I thought they had a nice little match here. If Mansoor continues his winning ways, he should probably be in contention for the NXT Cruiserweight Championship before long.

Sami Zayn def. Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy and AJ Styles in a Triple Threat Match (Non-Title)The "ascension ceremony" that preceded this match was really well done. Everyone got to make their case for why they should be Intercontinental Champion and why they'll win the Triple Threat Ladder match at Clash of Champions. The segment left me more excited for it than I was previously. My only issue with this was that, while it didn't have a stipulation, I wouldn't have booked a Triple Threat before another Triple Threat on Sunday. That said, it was obvious they were holding back a bit so they didn't give away their best stuff before then. It was a fun opener and between Zayn winning and Styles standing tall afterward, I'm more confident in picking Hardy to retain the title than I was earlier this week.
NXT UK Champion WALTER def. Saxon HuxleyEven before the pandemic happened, I couldn't tell you the last time I saw Huxley in action. I believe he's been a part of the brand since the start, but he's never done anything for me. He has size on his side, but he bores me to tears and has nothing about him that stands out as special. That's why I was so surprised to see him take WALTER to the limit and get so much offense in. I wanted to watch WALTER straight-up kiss someone, not have a competitive match with someone who had been previously established as a stepping stone. I assume this isn't the end of Huxley's push as he teased a confrontation with Jack Starz afterward backstage.
Bianca Belair def. Liv MorganAs awful as Monday's Raw was, I was elated that a vignette aired for Belair during the show showcasing her strength, meaning she may soon be pushed. Then again, I thought the same thing when she debuted on Raw back in April and returned alongside The Street Profits over the summer, so seeing is believing. If nothing else, she continues to rack up wins on Main Event, so that's a plus. This was a perfectly fine match with Morgan putting in a good effort before eating defeat.
