As a result of not wanting to get along, AJ forced them to team up and face the Prime Time Players in a number one contender’s match for Kofi and R-Truth’s tag titles. Surprisingly, Kane and Daniel Bryan became number one contenders! Despite a few issues between the two, Kane and Bryan defeated Kofi Kingston and R-Truth to win the Tag Team Championships at Night of Champions. The odd tandem would get the name Team Hell No just two weeks after the title win.

The newly formed team of Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow won a tag team tournament to face Kane and Bryan at Hell in a Cell. The match ended in disqualification when Kane went mad on both of them. Team Hell No outlasted Team Rhodes Scholars on the next episode of Main Event for the titles. Bryan and Kane continued to beat most of the teams in the division throughout the end of 2012 and the start of 2013. Both men qualified for the Elimination Chamber match, but they each came up short.

In March, Dolph Ziggler scored a victory over each person, even with the help of his bodygaurd, Big E Langston. This led to AJ, who is now Ziggler’s girlfriend, demanding that Kane and Bryan defend the tag titles against Dolph and Big E. Team Hell No accepted.

Kane and Bryan pulled off a great win over the new team to retain their tag team titles at WrestleMania. Many fans had grown tired of the team, and those people thought that Team Hell No would lose the titles and go back to singles competition, but that didn’t happen.

The night after ‘Mania, Undertaker came out to address the WWE Universe. Before he could really say a whole lot, The Shield came out to attack him. Kane and Bryan foiled their plans, and came to the aid of Undertaker. The Shield ran off. Two weeks later, The Shield defeated Bryan, Kane and Undertaker on Raw. In the following weeks, the trio continued to beat up Daniel Bryan and Kane, showing that they could be the possible contenders to the tag titles at the upcoming pay-per-view, Extreme Rules.

At Extreme Rules, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns soundly defeated Daniel and Kane in a Tornado Tag match to win the titles. Tension began to rise between the former champions, as Bryan thought that Kane and the WWE Universe thought that he was the “weak link” in the team. On the May 27th edition of Raw, The Shield successfully defended the tag straps against Kane and Bryan.

Team Hell No and The Shield will probably continue their feud until Payback. Daniel Bryan has shown that whether he is a face, a heel, or a tweener, he can get over! Only time will tell where we go from here.

That’s it for my Daniel Bryan series, I hope you enjoyed!
