John Cena vs. Roman Reigns: WWE’s Version of Superman vs. Batman

Bruce Wayne a.k.a. Batman is the dark hero with the personality and exterior of a bad man. When one looks deeper past the darkness of the cape crusader you can see that ultimately what he does is rooted in justice. The way Batman gets justice may not always be the goody good way. However, Batman gets his justice and is more of a vigilante hero. Then we have Superman a.k.a. known as Clark Kent. Superman is the antithesis of Batman. Superman says all the right things. He has super raw power. He wears colorful attire. Although both fight for good, Superman does things by the book. Ironically two of the most popular heroes are the founders of the Justice League.
WWE has beautifully presented their own version of Superman vs. Batman. John Cena is Superman. Roman Reigns is Batman. John Cena has been the face of the company for 10+ years. He has kissed the babies, taken all the pictures, and has beaten every heel (villain) that has come into his path. More so no public figure has donated to Make-A-Wish more than John Cena. The 16x world champion is the ultimate ambassador for the WWE in and out of the ring. Roman Reigns does not pander to the fans. Reigns does not try to make the fans cheer him. He fights off evil with a confidence that is worn on his sleeves always. Roman Reigns is a face that will be willing to do some bad guy things if it comes down to it to do what is right. Roman Reigns’ actions speak louder than his words. The big dog is hungry to make it official that the ring is his yard.

Many will think of this as a passing of the torch match. This is not Hulk Hogan vs. The Rock. This is strikes more as two alpha males in their primes making history. This is about giving the fans two of the most over Superstars in the modern day of pro wrestling a chance to put on an epic show. Will the Roman Empire come into full effect? Will the Cenation reign supreme? Whoever wins this Sunday will be remembered by fans forever.
