Hey guys, I thought I would do something a little different for the Lowdown this week. I thought that this time around I would do a character analysis on a particular Superstar or Diva. That's going to be a new part of my blog series.
So I will alternate between the two formats I currently have. So the first Superstar who will be put under the microscope is none other than the great John Cena.
John Cena has made quite the impact since his debut 12 years ago. He's won multiple championship belts, he's appeared at Wrestlemania numerous times and has even been part of a heel faction (The Nexus).
But despite all of his accomplishments, Cena still doesn't rest on his laurels. Instead, he does what a true former WWE Champion does and he just keeps on plowing through any adversity. He is the "Hulk Hogan" of the current generation and is someone for a lot of people to look up to because of the solid charity work he does outside of the ring.
He doesn't care if he gets booed or cheered. He doesn't care what anyone says about him and he doesn't care if he wins a championship belt or not. He only cares about performing in the ring and making an impact. He has LOTS of fans and he has the resiliency and tenacity that we have come to expect from him.
So overall I would say Cena is on track with his character development. But sooner or late Cena may need to call it quits because of the brutal matches he's been in and his body isn't what it used to be. So keep it going Cena and remember..... "You can't stop me!"
