Lowenthal's Lowdown - WWE Extreme Rules 2014 Predictions

So I thought I would do some predictions for Extreme Rules. Keep in mind these are simply my opinions and my thoughts on what's going to happen tonight. So here goes.

The Shield will destroy Evolution in what promises to be the "Battle of the Factions". Look for some heavy-hitting action by both side and a possible all-out brawl after the match. I guarantee that there will be at least one shining star in that match. That's going to be Dean Ambrose, the so-called "Weak link" of the Shield. If Ambrose proves himself in this match, it's sure to strengthen his position as the "alpha dog" of the group. I also expect a spear by Reigns to take out at least 1 member of Evolution really hard.

The John Cena-Bray Wyatt match is one I am not certain of. While I expect Cena to pull out a narrow victory over Wyatt, it could also go in Wyatt's favour because of the environment of the Steel Cage match. I'll give a provisional win to Cena but that could change if I am wrong in my prediction. Look for Cena to try and pull out all the stops to keep Wyatt down and out.

The "WeeLC" match between El Torito and Hornswoggle looks to be a high-flying non stop heart-pounder of a match. While both men are small compared to the average Superstar, this looks to be one of the better matches of the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View. I expect El Torito to pull out a victory over Hornswoggle with a resounding crash through a table.

Kane and Daniel Bryan look to be in top form heading into their match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. Look for a lot of ground and pound techniques by both wrestlers in an attempt to to dominate the match. Also, watch for Bryan to attempt the Yeslock on Kane at least once in the match.

The Diva's championship match looks great and could potentially boost the careers of both the women involved and that includes Paige (The current champion) and Tamina Snuka, the number 1 contender for the belt. Look for a lot of action and a possible Modified Scorpion Crosslock by Paige to seal the deal.

The last three matches will look like this:

RVD will win against Cesaro and Swagger.

Big E will retain his belt and win against Barrett

and Rusev will win against R-Truth and Xavier Woods.

That's the Extreme Rules edition of the Lowdown. Enjoy.
