![]() By Greg Lowenthal Hey guys... sorry I've been absent lately from my blog, but college keeps me really busy... so here's the long awaited blog for this week. Survivor Series looks to be epic as two of the biggest forces (Both literally and figuratively) will be colliding at the annual American Thanksgiving tradition (sorry folks I'm Canadian and we celebrated ours last month). This is also bound to put more than a few Superstars back on the Championship track and give others a much needed boost. I'm really looking forward to seeing Ryback hopefully being on Team Cena. He brings such power and ferocity but he also has a more compact frame than say the Big Show or Mark Henry. Also, it was about time the WWE stopped with "The Authority" storyline. A year or so of it was about as much as you can get out of a storyline like that. The reason is there are only so many angles you can milk from it. However, I think the idea of it was intriguing at first. But like most storylines (even though repetition is part of the WWE), eventually it gets stale and needs either to be revived or just put down and have a new one put in place.
So that's why I think a Seth Rollins-Randy Orton storyline would be extremely interesting to watch. It would be the classic "Veteran versus the rookie" story line. It would inject a whole new breath of ferocity into the WWE. Plus it would allow for a possible face turn for Orton. Even though he is the bad guy in this mix, the crowds always cheer for him, so a possible face turn could be in the works. Stay tuned for that. And finally.... The Big Show and Mark Henry are literally two of the biggest Superstars to grace the ring. If they join Team Cena and Team Authority, there could be over a literal ton of Superstars in the ring. So let's see what the weeks leading up to Survivor Series leads up to. That's the Lowdown for this week. Enjoy!
