![]() By Greg Lowenthal Hey folks, welcome back to another edition of the Lowdown. I'm not going to delay any further, so let's get down to the action shall we? This week's Raw has proven to be nothing short of intense. I honestly think that it's about time they paired John Cena and Dean Ambrose as rivals. They've been playing the Cena-Rollins angle for too long and really haven't made mention of the angle between Rollins and Ambrose. However, this new angle could have potential as both men have a common enemy in Seth Rollins: Seth cost Cena the WWE World Championship belt and he also betrayed Ambrose back when they were part of the Shield. So this new rivalry between the two men, Ambrose and Cena could see some major sparks going between the two of them. I'm really looking forward to seeing how far WWE will take this new angle. What Cena did on SmackDown last week may have proven to be the turning point of Ambrose's career. He's a superstar that perhaps the WWE needs to reignite their company and spark some interest in their Superstars. Ambrose then repaid Cena by abandoning him, only to return and lay waste to Rollins, Kane and Orton with a "weaponized" hot dog cart (this is perhaps the most creative use of Ambrose's "Lunatic Fringe" character yet). But, while using a food style device (like a beer truck or milk truck) is nothing new, it's perhaps the best use of a foreign object the WWE could have implemented. In conclusion, the WWE is doing a phenomenal job in giving Ambrose more of a push. But like real life, there is always more for WWE to do to boost Ambrose into a potential WWE World Champion.
That's the Lowdown for this week.. Stay tuned for the next episode. :)
