So guys, this week's Lowdown will have a new element to it. Starting next week, I'll be examining different wrestling moves and critique them. I haven't figured out what kind of criteria I'll be using yet but I'm sure I'll come up with something. So this Lowdown will have the usual element of me judging matches and wrestlers. So here goes for this week.
Raw was a mixed bag of performances and overall I really wasn't too impressed. The one thing that did impressed me was the John Cena-Cesaro match. The AA (Attitude Adjustment) off the top rope was not only impressive but it shows just how much strength Cena really has. Cesaro not's a lightweight by any stretch of the imagination, but for Cena to perform a Super AA off the top turnbuckle is impressive.
SmackDown was great but as usual, I feel that there are obviously improvements they can make. However, I still feel it was a great show. Randy Orton is certainly making the case that he needs to be WWE World Heavyweight Champion again.
The huge announcement made by Spike TV that they were going to cancel Impact Wrestling is one that could ultimately see the roster going to different wrestling corporations and it could affect independent promotions still trying to garner major television exposure. So we'll have to see where this goes.
(On a personal note, I want to thank everyone who reads my blogs and views this site. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to post this blog weekly and for people to read it. Thanks again everyone.)
That's the Lowdown for this week. Enjoy!
