Lady Flammer def. La Hiedra, Reina Dorada and Lady Shani in an MLW Women's World Featherweight Championship No. 1 Contender's Four-Way MatchI've made the comment before that MLW's women's division is basically depleted, so I'm all for using women outside of the company to compete for the championship so it doesn't become an afterthought. I wasn't familiar with anyone of these women, so to me, it didn't really matter who won. They worked a fast pace and it felt like they had to rush to get all their stuff in, but to their credit, they maximized their minutes. Flammer's post-match attack on Taya Valkyrie put heat on their eventual encounter. MLW World Heavyweight Champion Alexander Hammerstone def. BandidoI have no idea what Bandido did to earn an opportunity at the MLW World Heavyweight Championship considering he hasn't had many matches in MLW prior to this point, but hey, I'm not complaining. Bandido's awesome and was an excellent opponent for Hammerstone. As expected, they worked really well together and had a terrific main event. Granted, I never actually thought Bandido would win the title (he has obviously since signed with AEW), but this crowd sure thought he had a chance down the stretch. If this was the last we'll see of Bandido in MLW, he went out on a high note. Overall ShowKiller Kross was advertised to be in action, but he was apparently "attacked" backstage by the same person responsible for the other backstage attacks. Kross' face was never shown, but his back was, so it was clearly him. Maybe they just used old footage because he had already returned to WWE by the time this was taped? Weird. At any rate, this was basically a one-match show, and that one match was a treat. The women's match also served to set up a championship clash for a later date, so all in all, this episode was strong stuff from MLW as they always make the most of their runtime.
