Trish Adora def. Gia ScottBoth of these women impressed me during their time in Ring of Honor and they've continued to do well an time I've seen them compete in AEW on the Dark shows. I'm still stunned that Adora in particular doesn't have a contract yet, but both of them would be really nice additions to MLW's women's divisions if they're here to stay. This didn't get much time at all, but what we got was fine. I'd definitely be down for Adora challenging Taya Valkyrie for the MLW World Women's Featherweight Championship at some point. Alec Price def. TJ CrawfordThis was another fairly random match with no storyline support whatsoever. However, I was personally invested because I'm familiar with Price from the few times I've seen him in action at Northeast Wrestling (an independent wrestling company based out of the northeast) in recent months. He's super skilled and just had a kickass match over the weekend with ex-MLW star KC Navarro. It was basically a spot fest, but I enjoyed this outing and thought Price stood out whenever he was on offense. Jacob Fatu def. Ben-KFatu seemed to have an off night because there were at least two instances where he botched a spot here. It didn't ruin the match for me, but it did hurt the flow a bit. On the whole, this was a good main event. They made the most of the time they had and Ben-K had a solid showing. Fatu had to win as he continues to build toward challenging Alexander Hammerstone in a rematch for the MLW World Heavyweight Championship. Overall ShowThis must have taken place at the end of a taping because these were three matches that didn't matter. From an in-ring standpoint, it was a quality show and I liked seeing some fresh faces spotlighted, but there wasn't much in the way of storyline significance, so if that's what you watch this show for, this episode can easily be skipped. By the way, when the hell are we getting Hammerstone vs. EJ Nduka for the MLW title? It was announced and pulled weeks ago and no makeup date has been set, unless I missed something.
