NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch and Mike Knox Went Face-to-FaceUnless I'm missing something, this was not advertised in advance for this episode and I have no idea why. It's not often that the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship is defended on Powerrr, so if NWA really wants to generate more buzz around the product, they'd properly promote something like this to entice people to tune in. That said, this was a solid verbal exchange with good mic work from both men. Interestingly, Knox wasn't accompanied by Matt Cardona here. The Dirty Sexy Boys def. The Ill Begotten (Captain YUMA, Rush Freeman and Alex Taylor) in a 3-on-2 Handicap MatchWe were supposed to get this match two weeks ago before The Fixers filled in for YUMA and Taylor. Dirty Sexy Boys were able to overcome the odds this time in what was a perfectly fine Handicap match. The Ill Begotten don't interest me at all, but at least Dirty Dango and JTG keep things entertaining with their eccentric antics. I still have no idea what happened to their feud with Aron Stevens and Kratos because I don't remember there ever being a payoff. Cyon def. Sal Rinauro in a No Disqualification MatchRinauro attacked Cyon a few weeks ago, so that's why there was a No Disqualification stipulation. Rinauro came out looking like a crazed man and was accompanied by James Mitchell and Judais, so it's safe to say the heel turn is complete. This was a decent match, they utilized the stipulation nicely and it didn't overstay its welcome. Cyon got back on the right track with a win and I assume his feud with Tyrus still isn't over for some reason. Are we ever going to find out this guy's identity? Jennacide Accepted Natalia Markova's ChallengeI truly couldn't care less about Markova feuding with Taryn Terrell's faction of Paola Blaze and Jennacide, who I thought had broken up but apparently not. Ugh. I've heard positive things about Marvoka, but her in-ring work hasn't overly impressed me thus far, and Terrell's group is just terrible. Jennacide and Blaze took turns speaking while Markova said nothing. I know they set up Jennacide vs. Markova for an upcoming episode, but I could've done without this segment on the show. NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Trevor Murdoch def. Mike KnoxOn second thought, maybe it was smart to not announce ahead of time because this wasn't very good. It was a rematch from the main event of Hard Times 2 and I can't tell you if this was any better or worse. Murdoch can tell a story when he's fighting from underneath, but I don't need to see Knox working singles matches in 2022. Their styles didn't mesh very well and the botched finish didn't help. Cardona left Murdoch laying afterward to build toward their eventual clash. Overall ShowThere were a lot less segments on this show than usual. Personally, I'm all for shorter shows, but this episode was hardly eventful. A few promos were cut backstage, but it felt like there were a handful of notable names missing, which is weird with their next event coming up soon. You'd think they'd want to promote the matches on that card as much as possible by featuring people like Nick Aldis, Kamille and others. As a result, this was a below-average edition of Powerrr. None of the matches stood out at all, and although the main event was somewhat meaningful, it isn't worth going out of your way to see whatsoever.
