Sal Rinauro and Tim Storm def. Luke and PJ Hawx
The father and son duo of Luke and PJ Hawx were previously featured on an episode of the NWA's The Circle Squared show, so it was nice to see them brought back. They had a solid showing and it was a fun little match on the whole, but there wasn't a ton to it. Rinauro picking up the win for his team adds to his underdog story. I hope he and Storm get a run toward the tag titles eventually because that could be a blast.
This was the third installment of PowerrrSurge this year and I believe it was the longest yet. The match was pretty short and the rest of the show consisted of sit-down interviews with William Patrick Corgan, Nick Aldis, Thom Latimer and Kamille (twice). A lot of the same stuff was repeated and lasted a lot longer than they needed to, but they were good on the whole and furthered Strictly Business' storylines heading into When Our Shadows Fall (how do you not interview Trevor Murdoch?!). That said, it would have liked to see more build for the rest of the pay-per-view card, which was only finalized this past week online and not on Powerrr. I'm looking forward to When Our Shadows Fall, but the hype has largely been lousy.
