Kyle Davis Interviewed NWA United States Tag Team Champions The County GentlemenMake sure to check out my interview with Country Gentlemen from this past week if you haven't already. At any rate, I'm happy they got their moment on Powerrr. I was hoping we'd get to hear from them more now that they're champs and it didn't take long for that to happen. This was a quality first promo from them and the crowd enjoyed it. I'm curious if The Fixers will get a rematch at Nuff Said or Country Gentlemen will move onto other challengers. Homicide def. Ryan DavidsonI don't have the slightest clue who the hell Ryan Davidson is, so the outcome to this contest was never in doubt. The match was fine for what it was and served as a simple squash for Homicide to give him a win. Post-match, he went off on the mic and called out Austin Idol, demanding that Cyon give him a shot at the NWA National Championship. Both guys are heels, so that will have a weird dynamic, but at least Homicide is finally moving on from the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship picture. Psycho Love def. Mercurio and Natalia MarkovaPsycho Love, the duo of Angelina Love and Fodder (it's going to take a while for me to get used to such a silly name), debuted on Tuesday's live edition of Powerrr and attacked Thom Latimer and Kamille. That mixed tag team match will likely happen at Nuff Said if it hasn't been confirmed for the card already. Thus, it was logical for them to pick up their first win as a team before then and that's the purpose this match served. It was solid while it lasted. NWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Kerry Morton def. Joe Alonzo (Non-Title)With this being a non-title affair, I'm actually surprised Alonzo scored as much offense as he did. He's a decent worker, but he's done nothing remotely memorable character-wise, so I can't say I ever bought into the idea of him winning here. It was a well-worked main event, but the bigger news came afterward with Danny Dealz and Alex Taylor announcing that Taylor will cash in his Champions Series title shot on Morton at Nuff Said, so that's another match made official for the event. Overall ShowThis was a fairly standard follow-up show coming off the better-than-expected live edition of Powerrr on Tuesday. New NWA United States Tag Team Champions Country Gentlemen made an appearance, Homicide kicked off a feud with Cyon, Psycho Love scored their first win together, and Morton vs. Taylor was added to Nuff Said. This was more meaningful than what we tend to get on NWA USA and I'd appreciate this being the norm for the show moving forward.
