Luke Hawx def. Thrillbilly Silas
This marked Silas' NWA debut. I figured he'd go over since he felt like he was someone they'd start building up based on his presentation alone, but apparently not. Then again, I'm not bothered by Hawx winning instead since Hawx is great and worked with intensity after the events of Alwayz Ready and this past week's Powerrr. This was a decent match and Silas seemed to hold his own in there for as long as this lasted.
NWA National Champion Jax Dane def. Eric Stevens
Dane mentioned on Tuesday's Powerrr that he previously beat Stevens with ease before attacking him in that segment as well. I didn't think we'd get the rematch so quickly, but it was once again a total squash. I'm not sure why they felt the need to run this back other than to give someone for Dane to defeat decisively again, but at least it was exactly what it needed to be and kept short and sweet.
This was a fairly ho-hum edition of NWA USA, though any episode featuring a backstage promo from Austin Idol immediately loses my interest. In all seriousness, this was perfectly fine. The opening was well wrestled and the main event, while nothing special, was pretty straightforward. Although this show featured an NWA National Championship defense, it isn't an episode worth seeking out.
