Anthony Andrews def. Gustavo Aguilar

This marked Andrews' NWA debut, and although Aguilar has appeared for the NWA before, it was only once back in March, so this was basically a bout between two unknowns. They had an average outing, and of the two, I was more impressed by Andrews, who was dominant for a majority of the match. That said, it's hard to get invested in people like him if there's no guarantee we're going to see him featured again.

The Ill Begotten def. (Alex Taylor and Jeremiah Plunkett) def. Ruff N' Ready

I never know whether Ill Begotten are supposed to be heels or babyfaces, but they played the heel role here. I know nothing about Ruff N' Ready, but the crowd was behind them whenever they were offense, especially down the stretch. This turned into a solid tag team match that Ill Begotten got good heat for winning. I wouldn't mind seeing more of Ruff N' Ready in the future.

Gaagz the Gimp def. Magic Jake Dumas in a No Disqualification Match

This stemmed from Dumas losing to Miserably Faithful in last week's NWA USA main event. The whole Miserably Faithful faction sucks and Gimp is the worst member because the gimmick is so stupid, so I didn't have high hopes for this. Thankfully, they kept the nonsense to a minimum and exceeded expectations with the match they had here. They made the most of the stipulation and didn't go longer than they needed to. James Mitchell aided Gimp to victory, so Dumas was protected in defeat to an extent.

Overall Show

Much like last week, these matches were also taped at April's PowerrrTrip 2 event. They made sense to air on NWA USA because I'm assuming a majority of these competitors aren't familiar faces to regular NWA viewers (myself included), but the matches ended up being fairly decent on the whole. I wasn't too thrilled with Gimp being featured in the main event, but even that was better than I thought it would be. The first two matches were random, so while this show isn't must-see by any means, it's perfectly passable. I don't believe there will be an episode next Saturday due to the Alwayz Ready pay-per-view happening that night.
