Natalia Markova def. May Valentine by Disqualification; Markova def. NWA World Women's Champion Kamille by Disqualification (Non-Title)What an absolute mess to start the show. Markova and Valentine have been feuding for weeks and it's not a storyline I particularly care about because Valentine isn't a wrestler. She told Kyle Davis in a pre-match interview that she had some training, but then she "competed" in her regular clothes. Apparently she didn't bother to have attire made. It wasn't much of a match at all due to Kamille's interference, and then Markova vs. Kamille was cut short as well due to Kenzie Paige attacking Markova. Instead of the matchup being restarted, Alundra Blayze simply "suspended" Paige. I wasn't a fan of any of this. I realize it was designed to further the feuds that Markova is involved in, but it wasn't done very well. Austin Aries def. Ricky MortonWhat a random main event, but I'm not complaining. Regardless of what you think about him, Aries is a talented in-ring competitor and Morton can still go to an extent, so I enjoyed this and found it fun. It was probably for the best that it didn't go more than a few minutes, but they made the most of it. Maybe Ricky's son Kerry will go after Aries considering Aries cheated to win. Either way, I'm happy to see Ricky wrestling whenever possible before he retires soon. Overall ShowAries vs. Morton wasn't a barn burner by any means, but it was a definite improvement over whatever the hell those first 15 minutes were (a.k.a. a waste of time). Logic was nowhere to be found. Aries vs. Morton slightly made up for it, averaging out to a decent show on the whole. I believe this was billed as the "season finale" of NWA USA at one point, so I don't know if it will be back with a new "season" next week or if it will be going on break for a bit.
