KUSHIDA def. Jonathan GreshamAs I've said time and time again, Gresham is the perfect person to kick off any episode of ROH TV with because he's such a talented competitor and can have a great match with virtually anyone on the roster. Of course, KUSHIDA was no exception and I really enjoyed their encounter. It was a straight-up wrestling match, the crowd was engaged in the action and the right guy went over, so this was everything you could possibly ask for. Oedo Tai def. Jenny Rose and Mayu IwataniI continue to be very impressed with the women from Stardom that are being brought in to compete for Ring of Honor's Women of Honor division, specifically Iwatani. Their matches are very hard-hitting, and although Rose felt slightly out of place at first, she held her own and had a good showing. I could have done without the interference at the end, but it did protect the babyfaces in defeat. I also appreciate how the crowd reactions to these women's matches are getting better and better by the week. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Kingdom def. Kenny King, Chuckie T. and Eli IsomI'm happy no time was wasted in putting this match together after King, Chuckie and Isom earned the opportunity to vie for the six-man tag titles two weeks ago. Despite being a makeshift trio, the babyfaces had fun chemistry together and worked well against The Kingdom. My only complaint is that the finish with The Kingdom putting Isom away looked slightly off and the bout should have lasted longer than it did. On a side note, Austin Aries was a nice addition to the commentary team, and it would seem that his feud with King following their clash at Best in the World is not yet over. Overall ShowAfter holding two title matches on last week's show, ROH maintained that momentum by having the six-man tag titles defended in the main event of this week's episode. It was an entertaining match, as were the first two matches on this edition of ROH TV. Throw in the superb pre-taped promos from SoCal Uncensored and Jay Lethal and you have yourself an excellent episode on the whole. Next week, Silas Young will battle Chris Sabin in a No. 1 Contender's match for the ROH World Television Championship and a loaded three-way tag team match will take place as well.
