Sledge def. PCO in a Falls Count Anywhere Match

PCO was conspicuous by his absence at the Final Battle pay-per-view. I don't think he's hurt like Rush, so was it because his contract already expired with Ring of Honor and he wasn't planning on renewing even before the hiatus was announced. Either way, this was obviously his swan song given Sledge won and that was the right call. This didn't work as well without a crowd, but the effort was there and it benefited from the stipulation. Sledge seems like he has a lot of potential from what I've seen of him this year.

Miranda Alize def. Chelsea Green

Alize really broke out during the ROH Women's World Championship Tournament and would be an excellent pickup for any promotion. Green is already making the rounds right now between ROH, IMPACT and the NWA. This was a decent match with fine showings from both women. The Allure surprisingly weren't as annoying on commentary as I thought they would be. They costed Green the ring by distracting her from ringside, but I don't know where that would be leading considering this is likely the last we'll see of them in ROH for now.

EC3 def. Eli Isom

The timing of this match was very interesting given what happened at Final Battle. This was obviously taped beforehand and the events of Final Battle weren't referenced, but it does make more sense of what we saw at the pay-per-view. This was a well-worked match with EC3 giving Isom a ton of offense before picking up the victory. They told a good story and I'm curious if it will carry over into another company now that EC3 has his own little faction.

Overall Show

This episode aired on Friday in some markets, but most people (like me) are probably watching it after Final Battle, so I'm glad they didn't pretend like it was coming up by hyping the card. The next few weeks' worth of shows won't matter at all from a storyline standpoint, but it's cool to be getting some extra content before the company goes on hiatus until April. The Falls Count Anywhere match made this a somewhat notable episode and it ended up being a solid show on the whole from an in-ring standpoint. Next week's edition is being billed as a "top prospect special" and will feature Eric Martin vs. Adrian Soriano vs. Rayo vs. Joe Keys, Dante Caballero vs. Matt Makowski, and Dak Draper vs. Josh Woods.
