Flip Gordon def. World Famous CBGordan has an ROH World Championship coming up soon, so there was no reason for him to be having a competitive match with World Famous CB of all people, and that's coming from someone who has enjoyed CB's transformation since the Ring of Honor relaunch. It was a nice little match with the right outcome, largely designed to showcase Gordan before he gets his shot at the title on Night 1 of Glory by Honor next month. PCO vs. Sledge Ended in a No ContestThis was teased at Best in the World when Sledge stood at ringside during PCO and Danhausen's tag team match. I assume Sledge has been in action on ROH's Week by Week show in recent months, but we've hardly seen him on the weekly TV show at all, so it would have helped to establish him a bit first before having him face a former ROH World Champion. That said, this was a hard-hitting affair that I enjoyed and the non-finish ensures that their feud will continue. Dak Draper def. Eli Isom and Dalton Castle in a Three-Way MatchI was worried that this was one of the matches that was taped before Best in the World and that its ending would explain why they teamed at the pay-per-view in the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship match, but I'm glad that wasn't the case. Rather, each of them talked in pre-match interviews about how they're looking to prove their superiority now that they've gone their separate ways. If it was taped beforehand, kudos to them for making me think otherwise. This was a pretty standard three-way, but it was fun while it lasted. Castle looked like he was fine with Draper winning, so we'll see if anything comes out of that. Overall ShowAlthough this wasn't the most newsworthy show (I'm still waiting for real fallout from Best in the World a few weeks ago), it was a perfectly solid hour of wrestling Gordon picked up a momentum-building win ahead of his ROH World Championship match at Glory by Honor, PCO vs. Sledge made the most of their time and kept their rivalry alive, and the main event was well wrestled. I liked all the hype for the women's title tournament kicking off next week. I just wish we heard more about it and the participants prior to this point.
