NWA National Champion Colt Cabana vs. James Storm Ended in a Time Limit Draw

While I realize Storm isn't under contract to Ring of Honor and is more of a regular in the NWA these days, but it was cool to see him in a ROH ring, nonetheless. Here's hoping he'll be featured more on ROH TV in the future. This was a pretty good match between him and Cabana that featured some solid wrestling and an innovative time limit draw finish. It protected both men and kept the door open for a potential rematch. The Briscoes are apparently still mad at the NWA coming out of the Crockett Cup, though Nick Aldis brawling with them was weird considering he's a heel.

Silas Young def. The Squid

In case you haven't been following ROH TV over the past month or so, Young has been involved in an feud with Jonathan Gresham over who is the "real" wrestler between the two. Young claims to be a master technician yet always has to cheat to win his matches. The Squid was a complete jabroni and was disposed of quickly and with ease by Young. Oddly enough, Gresham was nowhere to be seen.

Lifeblood def. Bully Ray and ROH World Television Champion Shane Taylor by Disqualification

Between Tenille Dashwood leaving ROH, David Finlay getting injured and Juice Robinson spending most of his time over in Japan, Lifeblood doesn't appear to be at full force right now. This match stemmed from Mark Haskins calling out Bully and Tracy Williams helping Haskins out against Bully and Taylor. However, they never even touched before The Soldiers of Savagery emerged and attacked Lifeblood. PJ Black tried to help out the babyfaces but was laid out as well.

Overall Show

There wasn'r a ton that happened on this edition of ROH TV, but it was a perfectly fine episode with everything serving a purpose. I have no idea what's going on with The Briscoes and the NWA, but they have my interest. Meanwhile, the Young and Gresham stuff is going well and Ray's feud with Lifeblood continues. It was nice to see the Soldiers of Savagery featured for the first time in a while, as a little more consistency on these shows would be appreciated.
