Marty Scurll Confronted CodyAlthough this "Bullet Club is fine" angle has been going on since the start of the year, Scurll was largely removed from it for the most part until now. I'm glad that he and Cody are teasing tension heading into their three-way with Dalton Castle for the ROH World Championship at Best in the World because it gives me hope that won't be a glorified Handicap match. Their short and sweet verbal exchange here was great and left me looking forward to the pay-per-view. Tenille Dashwood def. Karen QKaren Q had an impressive outing against the former WWE women's wrestler and I see plenty of potential in her if she can continue to improve. It helped that she was on offense for a majority of this match, though I found it interesting Dashoowd was portrayed as a babyface considering she is a much better heel. The crowd was fairly quiet for this contest, but they were behind Dashwood throughout. ROH World Television Champion Silas Young def. Austin Aries by DisqualificationI love that Aries is able to appear in Ring of Honor while the Impact World Champion (though he wasn't holding that title at the time this was taped). He's an excellent addition to the roster and is a perfect fit in the TV title picture. This was a fantastic match that featured some strong nearfalls and an awesome second half. As much as I hated the interference down the stretch as well as the non-finish, it did lead to Aries' "heel" turn (he has been a heel in IMPACT for weeks) where he laid out Todd Sinclair and Kenny King and logically sets up a three-way for the belt at Best in the World, if they decide to go that route. The crowd ate all of this up and it resulted in a hot main event. Overall ShowThe Chicago crowd was once again an outstanding audience for this edition of ROH TV and made the opening and closing segments feel must-see. Cody and Scurll hyped the Best in the World main event, the women had a well-wrestled match, and Young vs. Aries is certainly worth going out of your way to check out. ROH has been putting together a solid string of shows lately and it's cool they have momentum going for them heading into Best in the World later this month.
