Eli Isom def. Rey HorusI don't think we've seen Isom in Ring of Honor in over a year, so it's nice to have him back with a new look and attitude. His pre-match sit-down interview was effective in giving viewers more of a reason to care about him, and hearing from Horus was also appreciated. This wasn't very long, but it was fun while it lasted as both guys are talented. This was a big win for Isom because while Horus is primarily a tag team wrestler, he did defeat Dalton Castle back at Final Battle. He was building momentum a while back, so hopefully he can pick up where he left off. La Faccion Ingobernable (ROH World Champion Rush, La Bestia del Ring and ROH World Tag Team Champions Kenny King and ROH World Television Champion Dragon Lee) def. The Foundation (Jay Lethal, ROH Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham, Tracy Williams and Rhett Titus)Man, that's a hell of a title, and it's because between the two factions, these men hold all of the men's gold in ROH at the moment outside of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship (which I'm honestly shocked nobody from the two factions has won yet). They've been at odds for a while now, so this was inevitable. I liked how it was timed for the go-home show for the 19th Anniversary Show seeing as how Lethal will be facing Rush for the ROH World Championship, King and Lee will be defending the ROH World Tag Team Championship against Williams and Titus, and Lee will be defending the ROH World Television Championship against Williams. They were given plenty of time and the action was very entertaining. As good as LFI are now, they'd be even stronger if they added recently-released WWE star Andrade to their ranks given their history. Overall ShowIt's no secret that the ROH product has been killing it since the relaunch and the card for Friday's 19th Anniversary Show looks promising. The hype for the event was excellent on this show and the video package for Jay Briscoe vs. EC3 was especially well done. Other than the interviews and video packages, we were treated to two enjoyable matches. Isom vs. Horus had nothing to do with 19th Anniversary Show, but the main event was certainly significant and is worth checking out. This was a top-notch edition of ROH TV that left me looking forward to Friday night.
