Search and Destroy def. Cheeseburger and Will FerraraAlthough Chris Sabin and Jonathon Gresham weren't officially billed as Search and Destroy here, Alex Shelley did refer to them as such in his pre-match promo, so I guess that's where the name came from. I was wondering how the faction came about in the lead-up to War of the Worlds (this was taped prior to the pay-per-view). This was a fun opening match that gave Search and Destroy a good first win together and further teased tension between Cheeseburger and Ferrara. I could have sworn they officially parted ways weeks ago, though. Silas Young def. Bobby FishIt took them long enough, but Fish and Young finally followed up on their angle from Supercard of Honor in early April. That said, this was far better than that bout with this being much more competitive and both guys coming out of this looking good. Most importantly, it was a meaningful use of Young for a change and I was very happy he scored the victory. It's no secret that Fish is no longer under contract to ROH, so it's not a huge shocker he helped elevate Young here. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Bully Ray and The Briscoes def. The RebellionWhile The Rebellion still don't do anything for me, Bully and The Briscoes continue to be a very fun trio together. Their matches are never instant classics, mind you, but they're always enjoyable and that's what matters. That's probably the perfect placement of the six-man straps on the card to be honest if they're going to be around. All six stars played their roles well here and they kept the pace consistent throughout. I don't know what purpose putting Caprice Coleman through a table afterward served, but the live crowd liked it, so it's hard to complain. Overall ShowPer usual, it might be a while before we see any fallout from last weekend's War of the Worlds pay-per-view, but hopefully it isn't too long because I'm excited to see what's next after that excellent event. That aside, this was an entertaining edition of ROH TV with a pleasant main event, a solid Fish vs. Young match, and a nice opener. There was also some storyline progression as well with Cheeseburger/Ferrara and Jay Lethal/Young, so this show gets a thumbs up from yours truly.
