ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion PCO def. ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion Marty Scurll to Win the Final Battle No. 1 Contender's Tournament
(From my Glory by Honor review...) PCO vs. Scurll definitely should have been built up more in advance considering it pitted two members of Villain Enterprises against each other. Scurll told PCO beforehand to keep it clean, but of course he cheated every chance he could in order to overcome the unstoppable PCO (including utilizing King and Gordon). In the end, he lost anyway and put over PCO big time on the mic post-match. Unless something changes between now and December, it will be Rush vs. PCO for the ROH World Championship in the main event of Final Battle. I like both guys, but that really isn't an intriguing matchup. I assume they didn't go with Scurll in that spot because he'll be gone from the company before then.
In addition to Scurll vs. PCO, other highlights shown from Glory by Honor included Angelina Love vs. Kelly Klein for the WOH World Championship, The Briscoes vs. Luke and Perry Hawx for the ROH World Tag Team Championship, and the semifinal matches in the Final Battle No. 1 Contender's Tournament. If you watched Glory by Honor, then this show is nothing new. While notable, I wouldn't recommend checking out Scurll vs. PCO, simply because it wasn't what it could have been in my opinion. Then again, it might be your last chance to watch a Marty Scurll match on ROH TV before he likely leaves soon, so the choice is yours. Otherwise, this was a fairly mundane show that did little to get me excited for Final Battle next month.
