By Graham "GSM" Matthews Donovan Dijak def. Danny Miles I still think Dijak should have won the ROH World Television Championship in Lowell at All Star Extravaganza, but they might have a bigger plan in mind for Bobby Fish. Dijak doesn't often get the credit he deserves for being as excellent of an athlete as he is, and this straightforward squash match proved it. He came off like a ruthless heel by delivering Feast Your Eyes three times to Miles, and I just loved seeing it three times because it's such a cool finisher. I hope he has direction going forward and Prince Nana's post-match promo seemed to indicate that was the case. The Bricoes def. ROH World Champion Adam Cole and Hangman Page by Disqualification Kazarian has never been known to be a great talker, but this might have been the best promo I have ever heard him cut. And the most interesting part was that Daniels didn't say a single word, which was great because it looked like he was unhinged and still recovering from Ladder War 6. The match that followed between The Briscoes and Bullet Club was good, but it was never able to get to that next gear before abruptly ending. I was content with that finish because it protected everyone involved and reDRAGON came out afterward to make the save. Kevin Kelly Interviewed Jay Lethal
I'm somewhat surprised they aren't saving Lethal vs. Cole II for Final Battle, but I suppose they want to move on from that feud so they can get to O'Reilly as Cole's next big challenger for the pay-per-view. At any rate, this was another excellent promo from Lethal, who remains one of the most talented talkers in ROH at the moment. But beyond a rematch with Cole, I'm curious where Lethal will go from there. ACH, Jay White and Kushida def. The Cabinet in a ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship Tournament Semifinal Match Did anyone else find it weird that they're holding a semifinal match before doing the other quarterfinal matches first? Either way, this was a really fun match, and although I couldn't care less about The Cabinet, they held their own and the babyfaces maintained most of the excitement for me with their exciting offense. I figured the heels would win considering the heat that has rumored to be on ACH as of late and that he's on his way out, but I'm happy they're in the finals. That said, don't expect them to win the belts unless ACH re-signed. Overall Show This latest batch of tapings from Lowell (the same site as All Star Extravaganza) have been solid and this was no exception. Unlike in the past, there seems to be a real focus on Final Battle, which is awesome given we're over a month out. The tournament continued, Lethal hyped his title match with Cole later this match, Dijak had a great performance and tag team feuds were furthered. All in all, this was another entertaining hour of ROH. Next week, Dragon Lee vs. Bobby Fish and The Kingdom will wrestle!
