Adam PAge def. Scorpio SkyThis felt like a rather random match on paper, but I can't complain about getting some excellent action between two of the best athletes on the Ring of Honor roster. Sky doesn't get showcased enough in one-on-one competition, so this was a strong showing from him. Meanwhile, Page never ceases to deliver and thus this was a really fun opening matchup. If the rest of Bullet Club doesn't stick around in ROH, I can certainly see Page breaking out on his own eventually and winning singles gold. Shane Taylor def. Eli IsomIsom pinned Taylor during a four-way a few weeks ago, so the purpose of this match was basically to allow Taylor to get his win back. Isom scored a decent amount of offense, but Taylor was mostly dominant and picked up the win as he should have. Cheeseburger attempted to make the save afterward to no avail, which led to Flip Gordon laying out Taylor and calling out Bully Ray. Gordon and Bully then had a solid verbal exchange, setting up a match for next week where they'll have wrestlers representing them facing each other. Bully revealed Silas Young is his pick, and I'd assume Cheeseburger (just based off what we saw here) would be Gordon's. ROH World Champion Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham def. Jushin "Thunder" Liger and KushidaKushida became a favorite of mine to watch last year and I loved his match with Lethal at Best in the World, so I was excited to see them mix it up again here with Gresham and Liger involved as well. There wasn't much of a purpose for the matchup, mind you, but it was very well-wrestled, the crowd was invested in the action, and it was an entertaining main event for the evening. I don't know who's next to challenge Lethal for the ROH World Championship, but hopefully his next title program becomes clear soon. Overall ShowThis edition of ROH TV featured two strong matches, a successful squash, and build for a big matchup next week. Page vs. Sky and the tag team main event were both above-average, but the key is in the follow-up. I have no clue what's next for Lethal and Page specifically. Final Battle isn't for another month and a half, so although there is plenty of time for ROH to come up with a card for the show, fingers crossed they don't wait until the last minute and instead they can generate excitement for the event by forming feuds well ahead of time.
