IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions War Machine def. Coast to Coast and The Tempura BoyZ in a Three-Way Tag Team Match (Non-title)I believe the commentators made mention of how this was a "War Machine rules" match due to being a three-way, so I guess they enjoy have the odds stacked against them. Then again, they weren't facing two incredibly tough tag teams, but this was a fun outing, nevertheless. War Machine dominated the better part of the bout, but all three tandems worked well together and it was a good opener to the show. Based off their post-match promo, it would seem that War Machine have their sights set on the ROH World Tag Team Championship again. Flip Gordon def. Corey HollisAs I've said before, I've had the pleasure of seeing Gordon in action several times in the past (prior to him signing with Ring of Honor) and he's impressed me on every occasion. He's an incredible athlete and should go far in ROH if he can continue to build momentum. I wasn't entirely surprised that the crowd was quiet for this because Hollis was on offense for a majority of the matchup, but Gordon was able to showcase his skills at various points and score the victory. ROH World Champion Cody def. Frankie KazarianThis was well on its way to being a great match before, similar to every other match involving The Addiction as of late, Christopher Daniels interfered. An occasional referee bump is fine, but it feels like ROH has relied on this tired troupe for all of their main events on TV and PPV recently. The fans bought into a few of the nearfalls, but I wish it was a cleaner finish. Also, is Cody still a heel or a tweener like the rest of The Bullet Club? I have no idea anymore. Overall ShowOn the whole, this was an entertaining edition of ROH TV. As noted, I'm not huge on the constant interfere in the main events, but by and large, I did like the world title match with Cody and Kazarian. Meanwhile, Gordon had a successful showing and War Machine had an excellent performance as well. There was also a brief Women of Honor update from Ian Riccaboni, but it would be nice if there was more consistency with when they aired their shows.
