The Brisoces def. ROH World Champion Bandido and Rey HorusThis is the second straight tag team match that Bandido has lost with the first being against Rush and Dragon Lee. I understood that one, but what was the point of them losing her? Bandido wasn't pinned, but if they wanted to give The Briscoes a win before they face The OGK at Death Before Dishonor, then they should have had different opponents. From an in-ring standpoint, this was a fun match with entertaining action. Bandido hasn't been positioned as anyone important so far while ROH World Champion, so hopefully that changes soon. Josh Woods def. Will Ferrara in a Pure Rules MatchYou don't see much of Ferrara on Ring of Honor TV nowadays because I believe he's heading the ROH Dojo. That said, he's a talented technical wrestler and right at home in the Pure division. Woods will challenge Jonathan Gresham (who sat in on commentary for this) for the ROH Pure Championship this Sunday at Death Before Dishonor, so this was a warm-up of sorts for him before then. This was a well-worked match that didn't overstay its welcome. La Faccion Ingobernable (ROH World Television Champion Dragon Lee and Kenny King) def. Violence Unlimited (Chris Dickinson and Homicide) to Win the ROH World Tag Team ChampionshipThe tag titles have been bouncing around from faction to faction this year and I honestly can't remember who the champions are most weeks. I'm not a fan of the hot potato booking, but the matches have delivered. This was a top-notch main event with a surprising title change so close to Death Before Dishonor. Violence Unlimited are back to holding no titles while La Faccion Ingobernable now have the ROH World Tag Team Championship and the ROH World Television Championship in their possession. Overall Showi mistakenly thought last week's edition of ROH TV was the "go-home show" before Death Before Dishonor, but I forgot that the show typically airs on Fridays and Saturdays in most markets. I always watch it either on ROH's website or on FITE TV on Mondays, but it was nice for the company to put it up early to watch ahead of the event on Sunday. I assume this won't be come a weekly occurrence, but I appreciated it in this instance. It was a strong show with three quality matches and a notable title change. ROH has been getting better with the build to their monthly events and now I'm left looking forward to Sunday night.
