Brian Johnson def. LSG, Joe Keys, Delirious, World Famous CB and Eric Martin in a Pure Rules Gauntlet MatchThis was a fairly basic Gauntlet for the most part (just contested under Pure rules), but it was cool to see a variety of people get some time to shine from the Dojo and the rest of the roster. Delirious and World Famous CB have history, so they got to play off of that, while I thought LSG had a strong showing for as long as he was in there. Johnson winning was the correct outcome to give him some heat, but the referee was an absolute moron for not seeing that his feet were on the ropes. Mike Bennett def. Rhett Titus by Judges' Decision in a Pure Rules MatchI don't think there's any established bad blood between these two. Rather, both of these guys simply wanted to make a statement in the Pure division at the expense of the other. Titus has grown on me during his time in The Foundation and Bennett has been busting his ass since returning to Ring of Honor, so this was a hell of a hard-hitting affair at times and quite the competitive contest. It really could have gone either way, so I like how the winner was determined by the judges' decision for a change. Overall ShowThis was billed as a special edition of ROH TV showcasing the stacked Pure division. It was clearly one of those filler shows that was already in the can from prior to Death Before Dishonor, but considering the Pure division has been one of the best parts of ROH's programming over the last year, I enjoyed it. The Gauntlet match wasn't the most exciting, but it was well worked and resulted in a good win for Johnson. Titus and Bennett also worked hard in the main event and had a quality contest. I still say these shows would benefit from having fans back in attendance. When can ROH start taping the TV shows with crowds again?
