Jay Lethal Interrupted ROH World Champion Adam Cole

I feared that it would be a while before we saw any sort of fallout from Death Before Dishonor on ROH TV, but it's only been a few weeks, so I was happy to hear from Cole here. He cut a very good promo about what's in store for fans while he's in possession of the ROH title and I'm glad that his feud with Lethal seems to be continuing. They built toward next week's six-man tag team match with Lethal and Los Ingobernables against Bullet Club very effectively and I look forward to it.

Dalton Castle def. Caprice Coleman

It looks like these two trios (Castle and The Boys as well as The Cabinet) will be feuding as the Six-Man Tag Team Championship tournament gets underway in a few weeks, so at least their tournament match will have some meaning behind it. Needless to say, Castle is incredibly entertaining, but Coleman deserves credit as well for holding his own and incorporating a few fun antics of his own. Castle getting his win back from last week's loss was only logical.

ROH World Tag Team Champions The Addiction Addressed the Audience

As soon as you saw The Addiction standing on top of ladders, you had to know a Ladder match against The Young Bucks and/or The Motor City Machine Guns would be inevitable. Lo and behold, that's exactly what was announced by Nigel McGuinness at the end of the evening. I have thoroughly enjoyed The Addiction's run in Ring of Honor and they did a solid job here of establishing their dominance over the rest of the tag team division.

Donovan Dijak def. Manny Lemons

Dijak has been in need of some much-needed momentum, so this squash victory for him was long overdue. He showcased his skills in a short and sweet manner, and personally, it was great to finally see him connect with Feast Your Eyes (he rarely hits it!). Prince Nana delivered an impactful promo afterward saying Dijak had his sights set on the winner of next week's ROH World Television Championship, and I would love to see him be next in line for a title run.

IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Briscoes def. Jay White and Lio Rush (Non-title)

I loved how the match Jay Briscoe and White had a few weeks back wasn't completely forgotten about and they followed up with this tag match. It was tag team wrestling as its finest as White and Rush looked to prove themselves against the established tandem and I'd say they did so quite well. The in-ring action was exciting and there never seemed to be a dull moment. While The Brisoces went over as expected, their show of respect toward the up-and-comers afterward was an awesome endorsement.

Overall Show

The constant mentions of the All Star Extravaganza pay-per-view at the end of the month (which I will be in attendance for!) made me hopeful that the weeks leading up to it will feature matches that have storyline significance for the most part. That was the case with this show and it definitely delivered as a result with an excellent main event, a simple squash, and a fun Castle vs. Coleman match, plus Cole's first appearance as champion. This was undoubtedly the best all-around edition of ROH TV in some time.
