Brian Johnson def. Danhausen
These two have been at odds for months and it's been a fun feud because of how drastically different their characters are. Danhausen won their two previous encounters, so it made sense for Johnson to pick up the victory here. They had another enjoyable encounter and, again, their chemistry comes from the clash of styles. Danhausen is already a guilty pleasure of mine while it's nice to see Johnson elevated above enhancement status.
Eli Isom def. LSG
Both of these guys have impressed me immensely lately and have bright futures ahead of them. LSG has really broken out as a singles star since Ring of Honor's relaunch and Isom has developed more of a personality since being back. They worked well together and had a very good match. It didn't feel like a main event on paper, but they delivered. This was the second straight win for Isom in recent weeks and I could certainly see him in title contention before long.
I'm pretty sure this was filmed before the 19th Anniversary Show, but honestly, you would never know because both bouts could have easily happened afterward. Either way, this was a perfectly solid show. Despite lacking in star power, the two matches were well-wrestled and filled the time nicely. There's nothing must-see on this show, but it was entertaining enough as we wait for the fallout from the pay-per-view.
