RJ’s Two Cents - 5 Best/Worst Booked WWE Superstars & Divas Since WrestleMania 31: Edition #33/26/2016 By RJ Marceau Over the past year, the landscape of the WWE has taken twists and turns with Superstars and Divas being featured in prominent roles and now on the outside looking in. This is the 3rd edition of this series. I decided to not include injured wrestlers because even if they had great 2015 we don’t know how they would be booked going into WrestleMania 32. It may however include Superstars or Divas that debuted after WrestleMania 31. 3. Worst: Bad News Barrett/King Barrett After winning the Intercontinental Championship on January 5th, 2015 the rest of the year was putrid for Bad News Barrett. Barrett went into WrestleMania 31 as Intercontinental Champion but he had zero chance of leaving as champion. Barrett lost his belt at WrestleMania 31 and lost to Neville at Extreme Rules. The WWE looked to put more promise in Barrett by having him win the King of the Ring but he lost to R-Truth weekly and never got over as King Barrett. Barrett eventually joined the League of Nations but they have been nothing but losers since they’ve debuted. The League of Nations will face The New Day at WrestleMania 32 for the WWE Tag Team Championships in a 4 on 3 Handicap match. Barrett will be leaving the WWE in 2016 after he said he will not renew his contract with the WWE. I believe The New Day will defeat The League of Nations at WrestleMania 32. I don’t know what Barrett will do after he leaves the WWE but I bet it will be better than how he has been booked in the WWE. 3. Best: Roman Reigns
Big Dawg makes his way on the countdown as the #3 best booked superstar over the past year. Roman Reigns lost at WrestleMania 31 but was about to defeat Brock Lesnar until Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Reigns defeated The Big Show at Extreme Rules in a Last Man Standing match. Roman Reigns was the favorite to win the Money in the Bank match but was screwed by Bray Wyatt leading to a summer long program with him. Reigns lost to Bray on multiple occasions but only if a Wyatt Family member interfered. Reigns ended his feud with Bray Wyatt inside Hell in a Cell by defeating the “Eater of Worlds.” Reigns finally won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series by defeating Dean Ambrose. Reigns held the title for 5 minutes and 15 seconds until Sheamus cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Reigns lost at TLC vs. Sheamus in a rematch. Roman Reigns won his title back the next night on December 14th and entered 2016 as WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Reigns lost his title at the Royal Rumble to HHH in the Royal Rumble match. Roman Reigns is entering WrestleMania 32 as the #1 contender and will face Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Roman Reigns is destined to be WWE Champion in 2016 and should have a strong year. SEE ALSO: "RJ's Two Cents - 5 Best/Worst Booked WWE Superstars & Divas Since WrestleMania 31: Edition #2"
