RJ’s Two Cents - How WWE Should Book the WWE Universal Championship Fatal 4-Way on Raw

​​After Finn Balor went down with his shoulder injury, the WWE was fast to implement a new plan to crown a new champion. Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns and Enzo & Cass came down to the ring to plead their case to be the new champion. I could understand Owens, Rollins, Jericho and Reigns making a case for the title but what has Enzo & Cass done to earn a WWE Universal title match? I know Vince loves Cass due to his size but he has no business pursuing the United States Championship either.

The WWE will probably go with the easy and predictable route with either Seth Rollins or Roman Reigns winning the title. I am a big fan of Rollins so it’s hard saying don’t give it to Rollins but the WWE has failed to make new big stars in recent years. Since “The Shield” broke up the WWE has only really focused on them as the new faces or stars of the company. I know people will say they were going to push Finn Balor but reports say that if Reigns didn’t get suspended then it would have been Reigns vs. Rollins for the WWE Championship. Balor was supposed to face Chris Jericho before the suspension.

​Most people hate change and trying something new but with the WWE same old status quo keeps the same people in the title picture. Owens & Zayn in particular have been underutilized since being called up from NXT. At least Owens has been a two time Intercontinental Champion but Zayn has nothing to show for. So honestly Zayn should be in this match over Big Cass but I will save that rant for another day.

The match will be good, I don’t have any worries about that I just hope the WWE crowns the right person as champion. Rollins & Reigns have been in the title hunt for almost two years so they need to take a backseat from main event title scene. The WWE can make Kevin Owens the new face of Monday Night Raw with a title win especially if he gets help from his friend Chris Jericho. The bromance they have has been great so having one of them as champion would be great with the team eventually splitting up over the title. I would have Jericho help Owens win by screwing over either Rollins or Reigns to get Owens the pin fall. In no scenario anyone could ever pitch me would I want Big Cass to win so that is out of the equation. Most likely it will be Rollins or Reigns but they should change Monday Night Raw to The Kevin Owens Show.
