![]() By RJ Marceau Back in November when I found out that my favorite WWE wrestler Seth Rollins had torn his ACL and MCL I was devastated. I realized that Monday Night Raw wouldn’t be the same for the next 7-9 months. However I told Graham that Seth Rollins would be back before I graduated. I was a day off but hey I had the confidence that he would be back early. When Rey Mysterio was diminishing I decided that it was time for me to find a new favorite wrestler. I decided to start watching NXT and Seth Rollins became my guy. I have been live for his Money in the Bank victory, when he won the United States Championship at SummerSlam and met him at SummerSlam Axxess last year. These were all great moments but being there for his return topped all of those moments. He returned in six months from an ACL, MCL and medial meniscus tear and I could only imagine the hard work he dedicated to get back in the ring. Luckily for us next week they are airing a WWE 24 Special about his recovery, which should be a great special. Now that Seth Rollins is back he will be contending for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank vs. Roman Reigns. I don’t see Rollins winning back the championship because it seems like he will be facing HHH at SummerSlam. On Raw, Seth received the cold shoulder from Stephanie, which started to foreshadow future events.
They are fully invested in Roman Reigns as being “The Guy” so I don’t see him dropping the title before SummerSlam. Rollins doesn’t need the title right away either because he was supposed to drop it to Reigns at Survivor Series so his reign technically was only cut short by a few weeks. Seeing “The Architect” back on my television screen will be amazing and the matches he could have with Kevin Owens and AJ Styles down the line should be amazing. Hell, book Styles vs. Rollins, Owens vs. Rollins or HHH vs. Rollins and I will be at SummerSlam. I have been lucky enough with being live for big moments in his career and hopefully will witness something special at SummerSlam.
