RJ’s Two Cents - Why Emma Deserves Another Run on WWE's Main Roster

I have decided that since I am the only one on nexterawrestling.net that is covering the women/diva wrestlers that I am the self proclaimed Senior Diva Columnist. As the women’s division in NXT sees the rise of Carmella, Dana Brooke, Nia Jax and Eva Marie, Emma is being overshadowed and she is one the most talented women’s wrestlers in WWE and NXT.

Emma was a breakout women’s wrestler when she debuted. She was a loveable babyface that thrived with her “Emma dance.” She had the in ring ability and charisma to be one of the next top babyfaces on the main roster. She had an amazing match with Paige at NXT Arrival and it seemed that she was going to break out once she hit the WWE. Unfortunately the WWE saw her more for the entertaining/catchy dance than her actual in ring action. They also paired her with the career killer Santino Marella. The timing also was off since at that time in the WWE, Raw loved featuring dance competitions between Santino Marella, Emma, Summer Rae and Fandango.

Once the dance fad was over the WWE demoted Emma to Superstars and Main Event. She treaded water for a little bit and then was sent back down to NXT. She was able to change her character into a heel and started teaming with Dana Brooke. She has had great matches down in NXT but has feuded with majority of the NXT Women’s division. She has put over Carmella, Bayley and Asuka while being down in NXT. The wins are thin and far between but she is still an amazing wrestler.

Besides the NXT Women’s Championship, Emma has done everything in NXT and with her new heel character being the best run she has had in her career I think she deserves another shot at the main roster. She has the wrestling ability and deserves to be on the main roster. I actually think she will eventually get back to the main roster but the timetable isn’t really set for her return.

The Emmalution is over but with my proposed WWE Diva Tag Team Titles she can definitely be a big time player in this division. A heel Paige and Emma as a tandem would be very impressive and have great matches. Emma had officially arrived at NXT Arrival but after tweaking her character I believe she can make it on the main roster.

Big fan of Emma here as well, think the faction of herself, Dana Brooke and Alexa Bliss could work really well in the future and they could try for the diva's title.
